Aurora Christian wins opener at Plano
Aurora Christian defeated Lisle 57-34 at the Plano Christmas Classic Monday.
Pat McNamara came off the bench to lead the Eagles with 19 points. Steve Buhrt had 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals. John Harrell had 5 assists and Zach Singer added 8 rebounds and 4 assists.
The Eagles will play No. 5 seed Genoa-Kingston at 9 a.m. Thursday.
Marmion 59, DeKalb 43: The Cadets (4-6) won their fourth straight game and improved to 3-0 at the 86th Chuck Dayton Tournament in DeKalb with a 59-43 win over the hosts Monday.
Marmion will play in the semifinals at 7:30 p.m. Thursday against Belvidere. West Chicago plays Hinsdale South in the other semifinal.
