Wauconda tips Woodstock North

Boys basketball

Wauconda 49, Woodstock North 47: Ben Carlson had 13 points and 10 rebounds and led four players in double figures as Wauconda slipped by Woodstock North. Dion Head added 11 points and Ricky Sidlowski and Joey Lovelle each finished with 10 points for the Bulldogs, who move to 7-2.

Girls basketball

Grant 64, Lakes 46: Kaylie Kanzler poured in 22 points to lead Grant to a big North Suburban Conference Prairie Division victory. The Bulldogs also got 12 points from Deanna Rodriguez, 11 points from Taylor Drake and 10 points from Jasmine Sangster. Sam Ney and Ellie Haviland each had 14 points for Lakes.

Girls bowling

Wauconda d. North Chicago: Jordan Meland led Wauconda to a 1,848-1,234 victory over North Chicago. She finished with a 477. Teammate Kayla Pridemore had a 413.
