Westminster Christian 57, Cornerstone Christian 38: The Warriors (5-3) were down 28-21 at halftime but played well the second half to defeat Cornerstone Christian Academy in nonconference action Saturday. Sam Carani led all scorers with 29 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Brian McDonaugh finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Luther North 49, Harvest Christian 46: Harvest Christian Academy (3-4) suffered a Northeastern Athletic Conference loss to Luther North Saturday despite John Vislisel’s 19 points and 14 rebounds. Noah Fox and Jake Adams scored 9 points each and Brett Cramer added 7 points for the Lions.

Metea Valley 93, South Elgin 74: Matthew Smith led all scorers with 30 points for South Elgin, including 4 3-pointers in this Upstate Eight Valley loss. Darius Wells finished with 16 points and Matt McClure had 14 points for the Storm (3-4, 1-2).

Waubonsie Valley 51, Bartlett 49: Ryan DiCanio had 14 points for the Hawks (7-2, 1-2) during Upstate Eight Valley competition.
