Larkin trips up St. Charles North
Larkin 62, St. Charles North 58: Nichole Davidson’s game-high 25 points wasn’t enough for the North Stars (3-5, 1-2), who watched senior Victoria Patterson and freshman Marlee Ryles combine for 43 points in the Royals’ Upstate Eight River Division win in Elgin. Patterson scored 9 of her 22 in the third quarter alone, when Larkin (2-5, 1-1) extended a 2-point halftime lead to 9. Ryles was 10 of 12 from the free-throw line and finished with 21 points. Alyssa McGhee (13 points) sank 4 3-pointers for the Royals.
