St. Edward 66, Guerin 53: Perfection is still a valid term for the Green Wave (9-0, 1-0) as they downed Guerin in Suburban Christian crossover action in Elgin. Nick Duffy led all scorers with 19 points while DaVontae Elam added 11. St. Edward outscored the Gators 56-43 in the final 3 quarters.

Jacobs 54, Woodstock 35: New head coach Jimmy Roberts collected his first win as Golden Eagles' head coach in Fox Valley Conference crossover action. Junior Chris Orange led Jacobs (1-3) with 15 points and Ben Murray chipped in 12 to halt the Blue Streaks. Jacobs also hit 21 free throws. "It's a good feeling with our experience," Roberts said. "With a new group together it's tough to get that first win."

Crystal Lake South 70, Johnsburg 44: The Gators used a 21-point second quarter to break away from Johnsburg and stay undefeated in FVC crossover action at The Swamp. Chris Mahoney led CLS (7-0) with a game-high 19 while Austin Rogers chipped in 14. Caleb Johnson also scored in double figures with 10.

Huntley 73, Crystal Lake Central 24: Huntley (3-3) scored more points in the fourth quarter (26) than the Tigers had in the Fox Valley Conference crossover game and 12 Red Raiders touched the scoring column. Belmont-bound Amanze Egekeze led the Raiders with 15 points and senior Kyle Slonka managed 12. Eight Red Raiders had at least 5 points.

Bartlett 57, Oswego East 49: Ryan DiCanio led Bartlett (6-1) with 20 points in this nonconference win.
