Elgin Academy 62, St. Martin de Porres 30: The Hilltoppers (2-2) were led by Jumel Julien, who finished with 16 points, including 3 3-pointers, and 5 rebounds. Dietrich Robinson was right behind with 15 points, 2 steals and 2 rebounds. Ryan Vero had 6 points and 4 steals, while Spencer Schael had 6 points and 4 rebounds.

West Chicago 66, Bartlett 58: The Hawks (5-1, 0-1) suffered their first loss of the season in their Upstate Eight Valley opener. Ryan DiCanio led Bartlett with 19 points. Kevin Wantroba and Justin Busch finished with 13 points apiece for Bartlett.

Westminster Christian 68, Stillman Valley 60: The Warriors (4-2) were victorious in nonconference action Saturday with the help of Sam Carani’s 36 points, including his 4 3-pointers and an 8-for-11 performance from the free-throw line. Dillon Rejman scored 11 points for Westminster.
