Score one for Gallimore (45 points), Antioch

It was game for Antioch’s girls basketball team to remember.

And one Paige Gallimore will surely never forget.

The senior guard scored a career-high 45 points, as the Sequoits knocked off perennial state power Fenwick 86-78 in the Niles North tournament Saturday.

Gallimore, who also grabbed 7 rebounds, shot 80 percent from the field and 90 percent from the free-throw line. Her scoring average is 29.4 points per game for the 5-0 Sequoits, who wrap up the tournament today at 12:30 p. m. against Niles North.

Alexis Duehr added 8 points and 8 rebounds for Antioch, while Ashley Reiser had 10 points, 4 boards, 5 assists and 4 steals.

Libertyville 51, Buffalo Grove 50: At Buffalo Grove, Claire Keefe scored 17 points for the Wildcats.

Rosie Lynch (two 3-pointers) and Tara Eyre added 8 points apiece for Libertyville (2-2).
