South Elgin 80, Jacobs 42: The Storm (2-2) crushed the Golden Eagles (1-4) during Dundee-Crown Thanksgiving tournament play at South Elgin. Anna Tracy led the way with 14 points and Nadia Yang was right behind her with 13 points, including 3 3-pointers. Delaney Kelleher (10 points), Taylor Ford (9 points) and Laura McIntosh (9 points) also did well for South Elgin. Jessica Powell and Nicole Cook led Jacobs with 9 points apiece. Talia Surges and Maggie Grady each scored 7 points for the Golden Eagles.

Huntley 50, Streamwood 45: The Sabres (0-4) played their best game of the year thus far but could not pull off the win against the Red Raiders (4-0) during Dundee-Crown Thanksgiving tournament competition at South Elgin. Huntley was led by Ali Andrews, scoring a game-high 25 points. Sam Andrews scored 16 points and Bethany Zornow scored 5 points. The Sabres were led by Holly Foret (15 points) and Kiana Jeremiah (14 points, 7 rebounds). Hannah McGlone finished with 8 points and 8 rebounds.

Elgin 51, Cornerstone Christian 26: Elgin (3-2) took the lead early and never looked back, defeating Cornerstone Christian during nonconference action. Maggie Powers led the attack for the Maroons with 17 points. Abby Pierre-Louis finished with 9 points and Melanie Berg had 8 points; while Alisha Panthier (6 points) and Jess Ramirez (5 points) also contributed to the Elgin offense.

Hampshire 50, Hoffman Estates 38: The Whip Purs (4-1) beat Hoffman Estates in nonconference competition Tuesday. Tricia Dumoulin had a game-high 14 points, including 2 3-pointers and 6 rebounds. Emma Benoit finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds, while Peyton DeChant had 8 points and 6 rebounds for Hampshire.

Westminster Christian 58, Marquette Academy 43: The Warriors (4-1) were led by Maddie Versulys and McKaila Hays. Versulys finished with 17 points and 7 rebounds, while Hayes had 15 points. Liz Meschewski had 8 points, 4 assists and Kinsley Donahue added 7 points.

Elgin Academy 48, Islamic Foundation 20: The Hilltoppers (2-2) defeated the Islamic Foundation Tuesday with three players scoring double digits. Susie Cain finished with 13 points, while Kaitlin Pearson and Alex Schafer each had 10 points.

Hononegah 75, Dundee-Crown 49: Hononegah defeated host Dundee-Crown during Thanksgiving tournament play Tuesday. The Chargers (1-4) were led by Melissa Barker, scoring 16 points. Allison Michalski finished with 14 points and Emily Michalski added 8 points.
