Aurora Christian falls to high-scoring Rock Island

Rock Island, which scored 99 points in both of its first two games of the IMSA/Aurora Christian Hoops Happenings Tournament, put 82 more on the board Friday to win its pool 82-65 over Aurora Christian. The Eagles (2-1) will play Rosary (2-1) in the third-place game at 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Rock Island will play Yorkville for the championship.

Alyssa Andersen led Aurora Christian with 17 points. Charrissa Robinson, Natasha Brown and Kirsten Madsen all scored 8. Brown grabbed 18 rebounds.
