Grayslake Central falls to Zion-Benton

A night after stunning Crystal Lake Central in overtime, Grayslake Central's boys basketball team couldn't repeat its feat against visiting Zion-Benton.

Milik Yarbrough scored 21 points to lead Zion-Benton to a 60-44 win in nonconference play Wednesday.

Danny Reed scored 20 points, including three 3-pointers, to lead Grayslake Central (4-19).

Stevenson 62, Evanston 35: On Tuesday night, Jalen Brunson scored a game-high 22 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished out 7 assists, as the Patriots captured their 11th win in a row.

Connor Cashaw added 19 points and Andy Stempel had 10 for Stevenson (21-4). Evanston fell to 7-17.
