Bartlett 39, Waubonsie Valley 24: Liz Arco scored 11 points and Alyssa Hernandez added 10 as Bartlett (12-9, 6-2) won in the Upstate Eight Valley. The Hawks led 28-10 at halftime.

IMSA 32, Harvest Christian 28: Kylee Knox had 15 points, 7 rebounds and 3 steals to lead Harvest (2-17, 1-5) in the Northeastern Athletic Conference. “Kylee had a great night all around,” said Lions’ coach Kelly Friestad. “She keeps giving us all she’s got. We need more players to have that scoring mentality.” Sarah Kott had 6 rebounds and 3 steals for the Lions, while Sydney Koonce had 6 rebounds and Morgan Lockwood 4 steals.

Elgin Academy 36, Cornerstone Christian 20: Alysson Wittmeyer had 8 points while Trennedy Kleczewski and Rachel Cain added 7 each to lead the Hilltoppers (9-10) to a nonconference win.

BC to raise funds for Sandy Hook: The Burlington Central girls basketball team will be holding a fundraiser tonight at its home game against Genoa-Kingston, with fund raised to benefit the victims of the Sandy Hook school shootings. Sophomores Jackie Collins and Alison Colby are leading the effort, with the support of Rockets’ coach Mark Smith. The girls will be wearing and selling T-shirts and green ribbons and will be holding a bake sale to raise money. The sophomore game begins at 5:45 p.m. and the varsity game at 7:15 p.m.
