Boudreaux, Lake Forest roll again

So much for that ankle injury that Lake Forest sophomore forward Evan Boudreaux suffered three weeks ago.

Boudreaux scored 31 points to lift Lake Forest’s boys basketball team to an 86-59 win over host Grant in a North Suburban Conference crossover Saturday night. Boudreaux scored 22 points against Lake Zurich on Friday.

Sam Downey added 12 for Lake Forest (12-3).

Grant (8-11) got 11 points from Tom Blanchette and 9 apiece from Rayvon Jones, who missed the Bulldogs’ last eight games, Steve Dunning and Mike Burns.

Lake Zurich 60, Antioch 27: The visiting Bears outrebounded the Sequoits 44-21 and forced 24 turnovers in the North Suburban crossover.

Lake Zurich (9-11) led 33-10 at half, as seniors Ryan Roach and Jon Repplinger had 8 points each. Mike Travlos finished with 14 points and 4 steals, while Shahzaad Khan had a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Bears.

Lake Zurich has won four of its last five games.
