Kaneland, Aurora Christian win at Plano
Kaneland 51, Sandwich 32: Tyler Carlson dropped in a game-high 19 points for the Knights, who evened their record at 4-4 with a win in the 50th annual Plano Christmas Classic. John Pruett and Matt Limbrunner added 12 and 11 points, respectively for Kaneland, which led 18-13 at the half. The Knights connected on 18 of 21 attempts from the free throw line.
Aurora Christian 63, Streator 54: Cory Windle had a dominant presence in the paint with 12 points and 14 rebounds while Ryan Suttle contributed 21 points as the Eagles earned the win in the Plano Christmas Classic. Haydn McNelis (11 points) and Paxton Singer (8 rebounds) came off the bench to spark Aurora Christian (6-4), which trailed 41-40 entering the fourth quarter.
