Lake Park finishes with a win

Lake Park 54, Fremd 45:

The Lancers (10-3) closed play at the Wheeling Hardwood Classic with a win. Nick Zanghi and Dominique Spencer led the way with 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Downers North 61, Nazareth 53:

Rob Mahlke knocked down 11 of 13 free throws while scoring a game-high 25 points for the Trojans (4-9) at the Hinsdale South Holiday Tournament. Dave Henson added 11 points while Rimas Barsketis tallied 10 points.

Hinsdale South 54, Lake Forest 51:

Brock Benson dominated for the Hornets (7-6) with 26 points and Jerry Stoltz had 17 points at the Hinsdale South Holiday Tournament.

Minooka 68, Wheaton North 56:

The Falcons (4-8) fell at the Hinsdale South Holiday Tournament despite 14 points from Ryan Jordan, 12 points from Sam Otto and 10 points from Dan Madhavapallil.

Riverside-Brookfield 61, St. Francis 54:

The Spartans (8-3) claimed sixth place at the Jack Tosh Holiday Classic after their loss to the Bulldogs. Nick Donati led St. Francis with 20 points and Jason Pisarski added 10 points.

York 46, Conant 44:

David Cohn hit five 3-pointers and tallied a game-high 22 points for the Dukes (6-7) in their victory at the Jack Tosh Holiday Classic. York rallied from a 34-29 deficit heading to the fourth quarter.

WW South 36, Kenwood 35:

For the second straight day the Tigers (3-9) pulled out a 1-point win at the Jack Tosh Holiday Classic. Dan Roadman's four 3-pointers and 17 points led the way.

Lisle 40, Dixon 39:

The Lions (4-11) rallied behind a 19-8 third-quarter run at the Plano tournament. Cam Bell scored 14 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.

Normal University 62, Glenbard East 54:

U-High outscored the Rams (7-4) 40-22 in the middle quarters of the State Farm Holiday Classic. Pat Walsh paced Glenbard East with 11 points.

St. Joseph 75, Hinsdale Central 61:

The Red Devils (7-4) couldn't rally from a 35-23 halftime deficit at the Proviso West Holiday Tournament. Tom Garvin scored 22 points for Hinsdale Central, with Matt Rafferty scoring 12 points and Peter Thaus 10 points.
